Research Appointments

Assistant Professor, August 2025 - Present

Concordia University, Montréal, QC, Canada

My research interests include physics-informed deep learning, traffic state estimation and prediction, the fleet rebalancing problem of shared mobility services, simulation with connected and autonomous vehicles, and traffic modeling with variable speed limits.

Research Assistant Professor, August 2024 - July 2024

Tennessee Tech University, Cookeville, TN, USA

At Tennessee Tech, I was conducting research on nonlocal traffic flow dynamics and signal-free intersection design with autonomous vehicles. I also developed and taught a new course "Transportation System Analysis", focusing on transportation safety and smart mobility.

Postdoctoral Research Associate, August 2023 - August 2024

University of Connecticut, Storrs, CT, USA

At UConn, I was interested in the research topic of the fleet rebalancing problem of shared mobility services - optimizing the fleet rebalancing approach with the aid of connected and autonomous vehicles (CAV) to reduce system-wide passenger wait time and mitigate traffic congestion.
